Do you find that there are times that you ‘give up’ and wondered why you do this?

Perhaps you need to consider that unless the value of the thing you seek to gain is sufficient, the chances are that you will run out of motivation to attain it.  We all want something out of life and there is nothing wrong with that. Where the problem arrises is when we have not understood the journey required to get what we want. The difficulty arrises as a result of our failure to accept that something will change as a result of getting what we want.

Change directions gives a fuller understanding of this concept. In essence unless the value/benefit of what we want is sufficiently high we are unlikely to continue after the first hurdle has been jumped. If a thing is worth having, it will need to be wroth the effort to gain it.

Reflect on your life and ponder on something that you did to get what you wanted. You might find that looking backwards it required sheer willpower and determination. Perhaps that adds to the value of having it.
